I think that this first picture is an example of how not to make a quilt square. We learned how to cut these triangles out and sew them together. Don't ask me how?lol I really goofed when sewing them together, with the pressing, and matching corners...

This is the back of the table topper that we made in our class. We did all the work at home and just yesterday I machine quilted it. I love doing that. Got kind of carried away with doing the strips in center. I tryed feathering around the border. Not done too great but fun for a first attempt.

Another picture of the front of table topper. A little close up....

The entire top minus the binding. We're doing that this next week. I really do enjoy doing it tho. It's only about 18 by 21 inches. But I'm happy with it. Molly

I finally got back to the computer today and am posting several American Doll outfits that I have made in the last couple months. This first picture is a tutu and leatard. The first tutu for a doll that I have made and haven't added any fufu and will add more tulle on the next ones I make.

The leatard is made out of sequined lycra and lined. It sewed up really easy... but had to resize the pattern pieces. Always something.

This a dress that I recontructed out of a bedskirt that I had gotten at a resale store. I loved the embroidery and sewed around it. I got 3 dresses out of it and this is the only one I have left.

These are another apron and chef's hat in size 7 and then the matching apron and chef's had for the AG doll. It has Chef embroideried on each hat in front.
Got 2 other doll aprons and hats done out of this material.

This is the sleeping bag made for the AG or any doll about that size. They are made of flannel, lined with flannel with batting inbetween. It has a zipper around the 3 sides with an attached pillow

Another picture of same bag. I made 3 of them. 2 out of this fabric. and the first one has dogs on the inside and red on outside. That's the one I almost tore my hair out trying to read the pattern. I put the zipper in wrong side up and that's why the print ended up on inside. After that, the next 2 were a breeze.
I'm still working on my table topper in class this week . When I get it done, I will post that too. But now it is pinned ready for the quilting and binding, I guess. Have class Wed. evening. Molly
